Google Adsense - How Do You Get Google Adsense Approval

When I once started blogging with Blogger I installed Google Adsense and it worked immediately. At the time, anyone who created a blog at Blogger could use Google Adsense. That  were the days!

But that is no longer the case. Google has become stricter. Read their admission conditions here.

Therefore a post about how you can ensure that you are admitted to Google Adsense!

But first, for people who don't know what Google Adsense is:

Google Adsense | how do you get approval?

Google Adsense: what is it and what is it for you?

Google Adsense is the Google advertising network. And with Google Adsense you can earn money with your blog! You can see it this way:

Imagine your blog is like a shopping mall. In that mall you have 3 places where shops and companies can present themselves. You can post a maximum of 3 Google ads per blog page. But you don't really want to have to deal with tenants. And also not to approach companies.

That is where Google Adsense comes to your aid. Google Adsense is like your broker! They make contact with companies and sell your advertising space. And they pay you at the end of the month.

Google Adsense: how do you get approval

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You need a Google account. Don't you have that yet? Then create this first.
  • You must be the owner of your blog. Otherwise you cannot paste the code for Google Adsense into it. I find this a strange rule in itself. Because why would you want to put Google Adsense on someone else's blog ?!
  • Provide an About page on your blog with your name and email address. This way, the Google team can see that the Adsense application was made by a real person.
  • A good navigation system is important, so that visitors can find all topics on your blog.
  • Make sure you have at least 25 posts on your blog.
  • Your blog must look good and professional. Not with all annoying pop-ups, a messy layout or just banners for example.
  • Your posts must be new and unique. So not a case of copy paste.
  • Your posts must be well written. So not bursting with game cars.
  • There must be enough text on your blog. Blogs with mostly pictures, videos or flash animations are rejected.
  • You must post new posts regularly. So do not quickly post 25 posts in one week to be admitted to Adsense! Aim for at least 3 new posts per week for at least 2 months.
  • It is important that your blog gets visitors via search engines, social media, in short so-called "natural channels". So not that you have emailed all your friends with the question: "Just visit my blog because I want to visit Google Adsense!"
  • It seems to help if you have an email address that matches your domain name.

N.B. Your blog does not have to be older than 6 months. That only applies to certain countries, but not to the Netherlands. And the Google team that reviews your application does not look at your visitor statistics. They look at your content and layout.

Google Adsense registration: the process

The process of registering with Google Adsense consists of 4 steps.

  1. You register with Google Adsense. Your data and blog url are now being checked. This usually takes around 24 to 48 hours.
  2. If step 1 is approved you will get access to your Adsense account. Your next step is to place Google Adsense ads on your blog.
  3. Your blog will now be viewed again.
  4. Within 5 to 7 days you will hear whether your application has been approved or not. But sometimes within 24 hours. That varies greatly.

I HOPE IT HELPS YOU

THANKYOU
